Story
This is the decaf version of Betty's Recipe Flavored Coffee. Formerly known as Snickerdoodle, this coffee was renamed in honor of the mother of The Roasterie’s founder Danny O’Neill, who inspired this popular flavored blend. In fact, it’s reminiscent of the homemade snickerdoodle cookies she’s known for.
The cinnamon-flavored cookies called snickerdoodles have been popular in America for generations and can be found in century-old cookbooks. But according to food historians, this type of cookie has its origins in ancient Roman times; it’s the name snickerdoodle that’s relatively modern.
Other equally whimsical names for this kind of cookie include plunkets, jumbles, crybabies, tanglebreeches, and kinkawoodles. Whatever you call them, we love the flavors in these cookies, and we think they also taste great in our Betty’s Recipe Flavored Coffee.
