Story

Many of our customers have asked us for an organic espresso, and many have also asked for a fair trade espresso. We’re proud to offer both in a single superb coffee, our Organic Fair Trade Espresso.

This espresso is a product of time, skill, and love — but mostly love. We wanted to create an espresso with a flavor profile similar to our highly rated Super Tuscan Espresso, but made with coffee beans that are both 100% organic and 100% fair trade. It wasn’t easy, though. A lot of work went into creating this espresso. After many weeks of experimenting with dozens of different blends, our patience and persistence finally paid off. The result of our efforts is an espresso blended from a secret combination of coffees, each with organic and fair trade certifications. So turn down the lights, turn up the jazz, and slip into the sweet rewards of our 100% Organic Fair Trade Espresso.

We love this coffee, found it at Costco and got hooked. Our local Costco no longer carries it, so I had to search it out online. This turned out to be a good thing; even though we paid less at Costco, the selection online is wonderful and we found some other great coffees.

This was my favorite espresso. It was historically a good flavor with nice performance in my grinder and espresso machine. However, the last batch in January was very bitter and was not good at all. Previously this was never that bitter. I may try it again in the future. I am giving it a 3 only based on previous experience. This last batch was a 1.

Smooth yet holds up to latte's -- use with a super automatic Jura Capresso machine and absolutely loved the coffee!! Was a big Illy fan and even some local beans (Alterra), but this espress beats them all hands down.

It's excellent espresso, but not quite as good as it was 3 years ago. I don't know what has changed, but the mocha flavors are not as vibrant.

from costco and paid shipping! But clearly, it is good if I'm doing that! I Make it in my stove top espresso maker (as a latte )and love the smoothe cozy not too acidic finish! Do wish I could get it there still because to pay shipping is a bit silly these days!

If I had to pick only one bean to survive on from Rosterie, this would be it. Balanced, complex, and decent crema. I like variety however, so I order Gotham and Super Tuscan; neither is good as Organic by themselves, yet there is a wonderful contrast between those two I simply love.
