Specially blended to be served cold, Summer in the City is a balanced and complex blend with a smooth velvet-like body and mild, round acidity. Heavy notes of dark chocolate and sweet almonds give it a mild berry character and an everlasting chocolate finish.

Story

This is one of the blends we created specifically for iced or “toddy” coffee. It features the same blend of coffee beans as our Never Summer Blend, but in a darker roast.

Want to know how to make great iced coffee? First, grind your coffee pretty coarsely; for example, as you would for autodrip coffee. Make a coffee concentrate of one pound of coffee to 1.2 quarts of cold water, and leave it for 14 1⁄2 hours. Remove the grounds, and you have your coffee concentrate. Mix three parts cold water with one part coffee concentrate, add ice, and enjoy!

Tip: if you don’t happen to have a cold brew coffee maker, one of the easiest ways to make iced coffee is in a French press.
