Tasting notes:
A bright, semi-sweet, full-bodied blend with uniform balance. Hints of ripe cherry and sweet citrus are rounded off by a unique sweet and savory spice with earth notes, followed by an everlasting milk chocolate-like finish.

Bean Profile:

  • Roast: Vienna

This blend is made from coffee beans with both organic and fair trade certifications, and it’s specifically blended to be brewed as iced or “toddy” coffee. It was created on a hot July night by members of The Roasterie’s Pilots Club, our “fan club” of coffee lovers who like to stay up to date on what’s happening at The Roasterie, attend special events, and get exclusive early access to limited coffees. Want to know how to make great iced coffee? First, grind your coffee pretty coarsely; for example, as you would for autodrip coffee. Make a coffee concentrate of one pound of coffee to 1.2 quarts of cold water, and leave it for 14 1⁄2 hours. Remove the grounds, and you have your coffee concentrate. Mix three parts cold water with one part coffee concentrate, add ice, and enjoy!

Tip: if you don’t happen to have a cold brew coffee maker, one of the easiest ways to make iced coffee is in a French press.
