Tasting notes:
A playful and complex blend: bright at the beginning, it quickly unfolds into a velvety smooth body full of ripe fruit and pecans. Closes with a long pleasant liqueur finish with just a hint of lemon peel.

10% of the proceeds of this coffee go to KCPT (Kansas City Public Television).

Almost a million viewers rely on KCPT each week for quality television programs that enhance their lives and strengthen their community. This coffee is inspired by and named for Check, Please! Kansas City, KCPT’s restaurant review show where host Doug Frost sits down with regular viewers to dine and dish on their favorite local eateries.

Each episode features three guests; each recommends his or her favorite restaurant. The other two guests then go and experience it for themselves. After the guests have experienced each other’s recommendations, they meet at KCPT’s studio to discuss their experiences. The reviewers come from all walks of life and are not affiliated with any restaurant, nor are they food experts. All of the guests are equally enthusiastic with their critique as they are with their praise. And that’s where the drama comes in.
