We love the Holiday season here at The Roasterie and with Halloween only a few days away our excitement is through the roof. This year we’re out to break our previous records. Last year at the Brookside and Leawood cafes we had over 1500 trick-or-treaters; this year we want to shatter that record. That means we need your help, Kansas City trick-or-treaters!
In order to shatter a record for giving away candy to people it’s important to know what the previous record was. Like all trick-or-treating records it started out at 0 eventually it grew to 1500 people. Like we said earlier, we want to shatter that record like a jawbreaker hitting the sidewalk.
So how can you be a part of the action?
Simple, adorn yourself in your finest of costumes, grab a bunch of friends (because trick or treating is always better in groups) and make your way to your neighborhood Roasterie Café. If you’re neighborhood café is the Leawood café you’ll be going to the Town Center Plaza & Town Center Crossing Halloween Trick-or-Treat Spooktacular which takes place 3pm-5pm. If your neighborhood is Brookside you’ll be going to the Brookside Trick or Treat Street which goes from 4pm to 6pm.
In addition to giving candy away we want to collect candy as well. From now until close on Halloween night, we’ll be collecting candy at the Brookside, Leawood, Factory and Corinth cafés to be donated to Harvesters as a part of our Halloween candy collection.
We want this to be the best Halloween in the history of ever. But we can’t do it without you, Kansas City trick-or-treaters. So paint your faces, put in your fangs, or do whatever you need to do to be ready to have the best Halloween ever with the Roasterie Cafés.
Don’t forget to bring candy to your neighborhood Roasterie Café to be donated to Harvesters!
