Rich dark chocolate!

The chocolate aroma when you first open this bag of coffee is amazing! I sometimes mix this coffee with my regular Bavarian Chocolate if I want to have a little less intense experience, but this is one fabulous coffee. I drink my coffee with a lot of cream but no sugar, and the Christopher Elbow (as well as the regular Bavarian Chocolate) is very rich and smooth. I used to brew this in my office at my last job, and people would gravitate to my office as the coffee brewed. I bet if you put sugar in your coffee this tastes like a dark chocolate candy bar! I love having some of this coffee around as a change of pace, and I think that anyone who loves chocolate would love this coffee. The brewing aroma alone is worth the price of admission,as they say! Another winner for The Roasterie!
I use this coffee with KC Blend to make a chocolate flavored coffee.

For me the Elbow is to too chocolate; but i like to blend it with other coffee's.

To date, Christopher Elbow Artisanal Chocolate is the smoothest coffee I have tried with no bitter after taste. I have experienced been many brands; 5 flavors from the Roasterie... Enjoyed them all but am especially fond of this one. Makes me look forward to that first cup of the day. Prompt, precise delivery available...Thanks to Kelly for adding a personal note to the last shipment.
Tastes wonderful, but chocalate powder "gummed up"

the coffee pot filter,making a mess, and I learned to only make a half-pot with a coarser grind. It had more chocalate than the last several time I got it, and I didn't have the problem with the chocalate clogging the filter previously.
