Spectacular and exhilarating, a total eclipse is a rare phenomena witnessed by only a few. And we’ve found a way to capture this dark and unique beauty in this luscious dark roast blend. Total eclipse is unbelievably smooth and balanced. A harmonious mix of ripe blackberry and rich dark chocolate explodes on the palate like sweet truffle, reminiscent of the exact moment the moon and sun unite in the sky. The finish is long and lingering with a syrupy caramel tone that is both clean and sophisticated.

I like a really dark roast -- full, chocolaty and rich with no bitterness or acid. this comes close but not quite dark enough for me.... though overall very good. But I still prefer Caribou's Obsidian.

My sister-in-law sent me the Dark Roast and I simply had to have more. I ordered the Total Eclipse and enjoyed it just as much. To my surprise there was a hand written message from a staff member, advising this was their favorite as well.

This coffee was very good. It tasted like a sweet chocolate bomb. The aroma was smooth with chocolate notes, and a darkness. The taste was very delicious. I noticed it carried a dark chocolate note, and then this like fruit note comes and springs up on your tongue. I also get hints of a darker roast, like a slight smokiness, but it doesn’t stick around long. Overall, very good coffee. I would though agree with the other commenter that I'd like to see it roasted a little darker.
