Letter from the Bean Baron Dear Roasterie Fan, As a young, fast-growing company in an exciting growth market like specialty coffee, we are always looking for great people. Our mission is to be the best specialty coffee roaster in the world—not in Kansas City, not in the USA, but in the world. As a result, we are extremely careful and selective when choosing future teammates. Extremely so. First of all, we only hire people who LOVE people. No negotiations here. You have to love working with people to join The Roasterie family. Second, you have to have a passion for GREAT coffee. Life is too short to pour your heart and soul into something you don't love. And speaking of heart and soul, that is what it really boils down to. We only look for people with lots of heart, lots of soul, and great attitudes. We can teach everyone about coffee. But, we can't teach anyone how to have heart, soul and attitude. We are all about excellence here.
